MUDr. Vaclav Polacek, CSc.

Dr. Polácek completes the study of medicine at the Faculty of General Medicine of Charles University in 1970.He begins his medical practice and specialization in general and aesthetic surgery in the District Hospital in Nymburk, where he is engaged until 1976.

Following six months at the out-patient department of OÚNZ (National Health Care Institute, Prague 10),  in 1977 he begins to work at the Clinic of Plastic Surgery of the Faculty Hospital in Prague 10, in the positions of secondary physician, senior secondary physician and deputy head physician.

In 1991 he is named to the medical superintendent for plastic surgery at the Clinic of Surgery of the Pod Petrínem Faculty Hospital. In 1996 he accepts the position as a consultant for plastic surgery at the Pod Petrínem Faculty Hospital and as physician and consultant for plastic surgery at the Hospital at Frýdlant v Cechách.

Since 1997 he is employed as assistant lecturer at the Institute for Postgraduate Education of Physicians at the Bulovka Faculty Hospital. He is employed as a physician with Aesthetia since 1998 and in the position of head physician in the Aesthetia team since 2006.

• 1999 Named to the committee of the congress of the International Confederation PRCH in San Francisco
